Paul Taylor, chief economist at the National Automobile Dealers Association, says that “[t]here are tremendous bargains for customers looking for basic transportation.”

Armed with a little knowledge like the Kelley Blue Book value and perhaps an internet search of local prices or even searching on eBay will give you a good idea for fair market value for a good used car — and a good starting point for negotiations!
