Have questions about saving money?

August 12th, 2005 | by mbhunter |

An excellent place to find a number of helpful pairs of ears is in the forums of SavingAdvice.com. These guys have been doing this for quite a while. I check out that forum quite a bit myself these days.

People have asked questions about credit card debt, retirement savings, whether to lease or not, how to purchase a home, and other questions about saving money. There is also an active section on frugal living.

The people who post in the SavingAdvice.com forum regularly are people who genuinely want to help to answer your questions. A good question will often get several good responses. Heck — you might even get one from me! ;)

Jeffrey Strain keeps the forums running smoothly with a minimum of distraction from the tasks at hand. This is unlike other unmoderated forums, where you might get a lot of very caustic opinions, trolls, or otherwise kooky responses. Good answers are easy to come by at SavingAdvice.com.
