Please feel free to leave comments!

August 18th, 2005 | by mbhunter |

I hope that people haven’t been scared off because I currently choose to moderate my comments.

I do not moderate them to weed out critical ones. I look at them to make sure that they’re not overly vulgar or spam.

I like hearing your opinions, so if you’ve got a bone to pick with my posts, go for it! I’ll post it! Also, any comments that you do after that will be posted automatically, without moderation.

You should check out SpamKarma. I use it on my site and it works well. For some reason, however, it always seems to throw comments from *you* into moderation. Really. I’m not sure why, as nearly all of the other legitimate comments make it through unscathed, and I currently have it set to a pretty low level of protection. So, if you’ve been wondering, that’s why your comments sometimes take a bit to appear on my site.

Sometimes when I submit comments I get a “This Page Cannot Be Displayed” error. Usually, though, the comments go through — maybe that’s also a symptom of what happens when I post to your site.
