More on paying off a mortgage early

Sometimes it’s nice to get some confirmation that you’re not way out in left field with your views. I found this post in Trump University’s “Ask the Experts” section. Seems I’m not the only guy who thinks that paying a mortgage off ASAP is a good idea.

And no, I didn’t “cheat” and base my previous post on the TrumpU one. I was actually looking to see if it was true that Donald Trump paid off a couple’s mortgage because the husband fixed a flat tire for Mr. Trump. (Snopes.com says that he didn’t, but goes on to say that there were other similar acts of generosity that did happen.) In looking for this answer though I ran across the TrumpU mortgage post above.
