Happy Thanksgiving to you, too! Hope you all had fun in Ohio – glad to hear that you avoided the melee that is Black Friday!
I just got back from a week in Mississippi rebuilding houses with my church, and spent a memorable Thanksgiving with a church down in Gulfport. I was touched to hear how much everyone there has to be thankful for after such a life-changing event.
I know after Katrina you had a link to Samaritan’s Purse for donations. They are still active down in the Gulf Coast, as are many other organizations. As the year comes to an end and Christmas draws near, it would be good to remember the organizations and people who are working on a full-time basis to help rebuild lives in the region.

Yes, Traveler, melee is a good word. Getting trampled isn’t my idea of a good time!
Good point about the work continuing in the Gulf Coast. I’ll remember that.
