$152 per pixel and climbing

January 6th, 2006 | by mbhunter |

The Million Dollar Homepage is almost closed for new pixel orders. This time they’re really expensive.

One thousand pixels left — and they’re up for auction on eBay!

One hundred fifty bids and 290 thousand views of the auction so far. Crazy!

So to celebrate the sale of the last parcel — the last chance to “own a piece of Internet history” — you can buy some pixels on the other side of town at Two Bits Per Pixel at absolute rock-bottom prices. Since we’ve just entered 2006, how about $6 per 20-by-20 block of pixels? That’s less than a penny a pixel until at least October 10th, 2010!

Contact me if you’re interested. This sale is good until the MillionDollarHomepage auction finishes, which is on January 11th at 6:42 PM Greenwich Mean Time.

    Hi Cap,

I ran across it on Alexa.com when it was in Movers and Shakers the first time around. Otherwise I probably would have missed it as well.
