A calendar store at our local mall was reducing its inventory, and had all of its calendars on sale for $4.  From a retail price of $11 for some of them, this was a decent deal.  I knew that my wife likes Foxtrot so I got one for her.

We went to Borders afterwards.  They too were getting rid of their excess 2006 calendars.  She laughed when I plopped the same Foxtrot calendar in the chair.

It was marked $1.

    Well, you still saved money, just not as much as you could have :) But I just hate it when that sort of thing happens to me.
