This is too funny …

While we were up visiting my parents this weekend, we had the chance to run by some garage sales.  Like Everybody Loves Your Money did as well, we made an offer on a bin of clothes for our 16-month-old daughter.  We didn’t do quite as well as ELYM did (we paid $10 rather than $5) but some of the outfits were close to brand-new and one of them easily cost more than the entire bin of clothes (easily 30 pieces or more).  (We even kept the plastic bin!)  We also got a number of pairs of shoes for 50 cents a pair that still were in good condition — she’ll grow out of them well before they wear out.
