Or the nickel for that matter. I currently am hoarding all pre-1982 copper cents for their metal content. I am saving every nickel I get too, the metal value in nickels is more than five cents now, and no sorting required! If you get a minute check out this bunch of copper cent and nickel hoarders at this forum: www.hoardingcopper.com I for one, have not given up on the cent yet. Or the nickel for that matter.
