		<description>I think John has missed the boat.  Sure, there are alternatives that have the potential to earn a higher than TIPS, but they also have the risk to return significantly less than TIPS.

Sure, there are alternatives that have the potential for a higher return.  But, that is what the balance of your asset allocation (AA) invests in.  You won&#039;t find many AA&#039;s that ONLY invest in TIPS.

My advice, read the rest of the book and then see if your recommendation still makes sense.</description>
