		<description>It may just mean that the average Prosper.com lender is greedy and may not have enough info to accurately guague the risk involved.

Lots of people bought dot.com stocks in 2000 - doesn&#039;t mean that buying what had the highest trading volume would have been a good investment strategy.

BTW - efficient market theory is a bit like probablility theory. ON AVERAGE the pricing should be correct (based on available info), but it doesn&#039;t exclude incorrect pricing for extended periods (just as you can toss 10 heads in a row before getting tails).
