It's dangerous to ignore any investment you make, and this applies to all forms of investing.

Ignore your stocks? You'll probably end up making poor investment decisions regardless of DCA.

Ignore your marriage? I've seen it happen before. Your heading towards a divorce.

Ignore your School work or workload? It's time to either drop out of school or find a new job.

Investing is about lowering risk and increasing your potential returns, so anyone who doesn't follow their investments doesn't really care about them. DCA is not the solution for carefree investors, that's what professional investment advisors are for.

Here’s a quick look at some of the personal finance articles that caught my eye over the past week:

DCA has worked out great for me because I'm not an active trader, and I'm investing into a good mutual fund for my Roth IRA - one that has consistently performed quite well. I'd be more worried about DCA if it were into an individual stock, rather than a good mutual fund or index fund.

I like your blog, by the way. Check out my brothers blog - I think you'll like it, though he's less into money matters and more into entrepreneurship and life-balance: http://bhlc.blogspot.com. I'm the money grubber of the two of us, though he's more frugal.
