Welcome to Carnival of Personal Finance #122

October 15th, 2007 | by mbhunter |

It’s Monday today, and here we all are!
You’ve no doubt arrived to this blog from afar,
By hook or by crook or by llama or car.

But on to the posts! There’s no time to spare!
As most of you folks are keenly aware
This Carnival’s huge! It’s gigantic! Supremo!
A strawberry float with a ton of whip cream-o!
All Personal Finance! You’ll just want to scream-o!

Quest for a Million was first to submit;
These ten things are better with money, to wit.
Kim Standenraus surely serves it up straightest:
Lending to friends really isn’t the greatest.

Quest for Four Pillars remarks on recession:
“Investing is possible! Can the aggression!”
4EvaYoung on that Oracle Buffett:

A heat map on Reverse Mortgage Information
Shows HECM — go check ‘em! — across the whole nation.
Grad Money Matters’ real popular post
Shows lazy ain’t crazy — they’re richer than most!

(You noticed that GMM’s name was in red?
Applaud to yourself! Pat yourself on the head!
It’s an Editor’s Pick! So butter your bread
And read the red posts before going to bed!)

Our friend Chris Kakaras discusses a budget
That smooths out the bumpies — there’s no need to fudge it.
Then Moolanomy surely shows us that taxes,
among other things, really badly impacts us!

Next Mrs. Micah makes clear a pronouncement:
A credit card publicly serviced announcement!
A CVS game from that slick Hustler Money:
Prescription Round Robin! It sure does sound funny.

Smithwyck and Sneedle and Sotheby Stahma
Will vote for Chase Debit Card Hustler-o-Rama.
Real World Finances was thinking of late
That mortgage tax benefits just aren’t that great.

This week’s account on I’ve Paid For This Twice:
The worst is the worst-est; the best is quite nice!

Now GirlRobot likes to get tickets for shows
And getting the prices to challenge new lows.
Advanced Personal Finance says this time around:
Your spending’s depending on how it was found?

This post we’re getting from FMF’s page:

(But read the whole thing and you’ll soon find out why.)

If you’d give your high-schooler credit card blues.

We’ve eaten this apple clean through to the core
With stories on personal finance galore!

So everyone, please kindly now, have a nice week!
May all of your finances rock, so to speak.
I bid you farewell, for it’s time to cut loose!

Glad that you found that the words were delicious
However, I found it was much more judicious
To change that Obama to something fictitious. ;)
