Link Roundup: Punxsutawney edition

Stumble it! Tip it! Facebook it! | 02/5/08

Our wedding anniversary is February 2nd and we had thrown around the idea of spending one them in western Pennsylvania, but the crowds are huge.  Neither my wife nor I really do big crowds.  So we’ll think about it.

I’m a decent speller but Punxsutawney is difficult to spell correctly, even if you live in Punxsutawney.  I looked it up in my copy of The New York Times Manual of Style and Usage.  Their entry gives me a smile:

Punxsutawney (Pa.).  It is so spelled.  And groundhog is so spelled.  And overexposed publicity stunt is so spelled.

Here are some wintry links from the folks at the MBN and other great blogs in my reader:

Also a thank-you to the following folks for being good sports when I picked on them last week:

Additionally, thanks much to The Dividend Guy for including my article on taking a second job or building a side business in last week’s Carnival of Personal Finance!

Have a great week!

I was in Punxsutawney this year for Groundhogs Day! Yes the crowd was huge but it was a good time and a great experience. Since your anniversary is on that day, why not celebrate it the best way you can!
