Link roundup: Ukrop’s edition

February 19th, 2008 | by mbhunter |

I’m really thankful for little kindnesses. Ukrop’s, a regional grocery store chain, has been great to us. After we found out our daughter had a lot of food allergies (including dairy), we were buying out grocery stores’ supplies of soy milk that didn’t give her a reaction. Ukrop’s has let us buy in quantity, and given us a discount from retail. We just call up an order a little bit in advance of when we’ll need it, and it’s ready for us. We just go and pick it up. This saves us a lot of time, and a bit of money, too. Ukrop’s didn’t have to do this for us.

Here are links of interest from the MBN and others:

Also, a big thank-you to My Dollar Plan for featuring my post on strong piggy banks as an editor’s pick in last week’s Carnival of Personal Finance!

Enjoy!
