A big push this weekend left me just about completely finished with my 2007 taxes. Just a little detail to call the IRS about, and I’m good to go.
Here are some links of interest from the MBN and other great blogs in my reader:
- Get Rich Slowly experiences encyclopedia depreciation first-hand.
- Free Money Finance suggests ignoring daily financial noise.
- All Financial Matters discusses what characterizes a saver and a non-saver.
- Consumerism Commentary comments on the Fed’s financial reform proposal.
- Wise Bread highlights the fact that savers are getting beaten again.
- Five Cent Nickel posts on the best high-yield online savings accounts.
- No Credit Needed differentiates between surviving and thriving.
- Lazy Man and Money is budgeting for a tank.
- The Digerati Life asks if you’re on track for retirement.

Also a big thank-you to Stock Trading to Go for including my article on turning spendthrift parents away on last week’s Carnival of Personal Finance!
Have a great week, and don’t let the 1040 stress you out too badly if you’re still working on it.

I took my time getting my taxes done this year as well. I had a feeling I would owe (which I did!) so I didn’t want to get them done too quickly! I’ll mail that check in next week sometime.
Thanks for the mention!
