This deal just hit my inbox. Restaurant.com is offering 60% off of its products, and throwing in a $10 gift certificate with each purchase! That means if you buy one $25 gift certificate for $4, you get an additional $10 gift certificate. That’s $35 in gift certificates for $4, or almost 89% off of face value!

Use coupon code MEALS. This Restaurant.com offer expires June 30th!

(Also, feel free to browse the coupons and promotions section of this site!)

… do average people really use these “Restaurant.com” ‘certificates’ ??

Are they always readily accepted at the designated restaurants ?

What’s the restaurant employees’ attitude … is there any delay, reluctance, frowns, or refusal ?

I’ve considered purchasing some of these certificates, but the list of restaurants that accept them… looks very sparse. And I’m concerned that real restaurant cashiers/managers won’t readily accept them.

Who here has ‘real’ experience with these certificates ??
