Link roundup: Scour edition
July 28th, 2008 | by mbhunter |I’ve scoured my feed reader for some of the best articles from the MBN and others:
- Five Cent Nickel serves up a list of twelve resources for buying smart. (Surprisingly, eBay isn’t one of the ones he lists!)
- Free Money Finance discusses the “sad rule” of home buying. (I’d never heard of this one.)
- Get Rich Slowly calls us to action and encourages us to persevere with consumer debt even if the deck is stacked against us.
- No Credit Needed reports back on the results of over 1,000 votes on his emergency fund poll.
- Wise Bread questions whether your standard of living should rise.
- All Financial Matters shows how to annualize a rate of return.
- Consumerism Commentary says that your money in the bank is safe. (As doomsday as I can be at times, I agree.)
- Lazy Man and Money gives 35 tips for saving on gas.
- Digerati Life hosts a guest post from Weight Ladder on how being overweight costs.
- Generation X Finance lists 12 big money mistakes people make. (After looking down the list I saw five that I do at the moment. Ouch!)
- Money Smart Life posts on the top ten ETFs.
- Sun’s Financial Diary shows how Google can help you with your budget.
Additionally, a hat tip to Taking Charge for including my Amazon grocery article in last week’s Carnival of Personal Finance!
Have a great week!
