I went to Restaurant.com recently and found that practically ever restaurant in my area that once participated no longer do so… wonder if the economy is causing that.

If you like to go out to eat restaurant.com is a good site. The only thing, is that it’s more like a coupon, rather than a gift certificate. Most restaurants have a few stipulations, make you buy appetizers, etc., and oftentimes you spend more than you would have without the coupon, but you get more food too.

Restaurant.com is a good site if you eat out a lot. It’s more like a coupon though, than a gift certificate. Most restaurants have a few stipulations that make you buy appetizers, etc., in order to use the coupon. Sometimes you end up paying more than you would have on a ‘regular’ night out, but you get more too.

Thanks for the tip. I have never heard of the site before but can always use some coupons. I’m sure there are stipulations for the coupons but if you were planning on going out anyways, may as well get a free app or drink with it.

I too use Restaurant.com, however, my advice is to use your discount offer as soon as possible after purchasing. Six month ago I bought a $100 discount offer for $25 for my family of 10. Because of scheduling, we were all finally able to get together to use it this past Saturday – only to find out the restaurant was no longer honoring Restaurant.com offers. Now I’m out the $25 I spent on the “discount” but I also ended up spending an additional $100 to feed my family!
