Finding an item of reasonable interest in a section that usually provides items of little value reminds you that it can be good to check bargain areas once in a while, even if expectations are low. This example shows that a nice video can occasionally be found in a cheaper video section, so those sections shouldn’t be completely discounted.

I’m disappointed that Redbox is carrying Expelled. I thought Stein had more intelligence than to make a movie about the proponents of a failed scientific idea (pun intended). What’s next? Is he going to make a movie about the plight of math teachers who think 2+2=5? Anyways, it’s disheartening to think that people will rent this movie and believe the propaganda.

That’s so funny – my husband and I just used Redbox for the first time and rented…. you guessed it, Expelled! We both really enjoyed it. VERY interesting!

My wife loves redbox. We save about $35/month by not having expanded basic cable (which never showed recently released movies anyway.) She can rent a movie a night and it would still be cheaper (she only rents one or two a week.)

I have heard good things about RedBox, for sure, and I see people using it in our grocery store all the time. How can you go wrong for $1?? We are sticking with Netflix though, as now I can watch both the DVD’s they send and also stream movies to my home computer for the same price. It might be $8 a month, but its unlimited too…
