I enjoy Winget's books - the reason they seem so abrasive is because (I would argue) so many people are raised in a "kid gloves"-like manner, which leads a lot of people to the problems that Winget addresses. It seems like a common sense bunch of information, but we certainly have no insurance in this modern world that common sense is commonplace at all... there is definitely a market for this kind of thing.
