At holiday times (Xmas, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, etc.) some stores and/or restaurants sell their gift cards for 10-50% off in order to promote their businesses. If it is a chain, you can sometimes get points for buying the card(s), PLUS points for buying them with your rewards credit card, PLUS use the card(s) along with a coupon (or coupons) for additional discounts AND get store or restauant credit if you sign up for their club card before you use the gift card, and finally get more rewards credit card points for paying any remainder with the rewards credit card.

Oh yeah- Target now offers a rewards DEBIT card now (see RED CARD CHECK CARD on their website) that links to your bank account & gives you discounts on your Target purchases, and you can also get a 2 cent per bag discount if you use a reusuable bag (any) for your stuff.

LOTS of ways to save/earn!

I think you could've just given people a walkthrough of the 2 year old Bing Cashback program or talked about the other rebate programs. There's really nothing new here.
